About Me

I am always up for a laugh, but serious about anything to do with achieving my goal. I conduct myself in an orderly comportment and I’m very respectful of others. I am very strong minded; hence I do not allow myself to be subjugated. Do not be put off as I am not conceited. I am very authentic; what you see is what you get; I do not try to be something I’m not. The Core Motivation that drives me through life is “Power”. By that I mean, the ability to get things done, to go from A to B as quickly and directly as possible. I have a pragmatic sense of urgency to accomplish a given task. I naturally seek productivity and want others to see me as intellectually strong. I love to have my own way. I like to be in control and am willing to pay the price to be in a leadership role even in an intimate relationship. However, I can get frustrated when my friend/ partner cannot think for themselves or make intelligent decisions on their own. I tend to value whatever gets me ahead in life, whether it is at work, school, or in my personal relationships. What I value, I get done. I may be a workaholic and enjoy it! I will, however, resist being forced to do anything that doesn’t interest me. I like to be right. I value approval from others for my intelligence and solution-based, pragmatic style. I want to be respected even more than I want to be loved, and I appreciate admiration for my logical, practical mind. A few words to describe me are: autonomous, affable, and intellectual; imaginative, innovative, and unique; critical, analytical, and logical; intellectually curious, driven to learn and increase my competence and knowledge; socially cautious and reticent; organized and definitive. The most important thing to me is my independence and being able to live according to my own standards. I have a quiet energy. I listen more than I talk. I think quietly inside my head before I act, though I tend to be vocal about my opinions on ethics. I feel comfortable being alone, though I do enjoy the company of others. I have good powers of concentration. I rather focus on one thing at a time. I am self-contained and reserved. How do my friends see me? My friends see me as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, one who’s quick to make decisions though not always the right ones. They see me as bold and adventurous; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in my company because of the excitement I radiate.
